Principle Tasks:
Promote and market ADVA solutions and products
Represent ADVA in front of customers and partners
Keep regular contact with ADVA business partners and customers
Make use of existing ADVA relationships in India
Develop new sales and revenue opportunities for ADVA (new partners and new customers)
Report at least bi-weekly to the Sales Director, India
Forecast at least weekly potential projects (customer, project size, implementation date, applications etc.)
Support ADVA in setting up a business plan and strategy for the territory
Inform Sales Director, India upfront of planned activities which are relevant for ADVA`s business
Defend ADVA`s position in front of customers

Selected customer accounts and channel partners in India (external)

Skills / Qualifications / Training / Experience:
Sales and / or business development experience of min.3 years in a carrier environment
Familiarity with carrier networks and in particular optical/WDM technology
Good knowledge of English language, verbally and written
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently
Highly self-motivated and communicative
Success Criteria:
Achievement of quarterly and annual sales revenue targets
Channel partner business growth and satisfaction with ADVA support/relations
Stable growth in new opportunities/project pipeline from quarter to quarter
