Windows Admin and Information Security - Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations is an international organization leading global efforts to defeat hunger.  We are currently seeking qualified consultants with appropriate technical experience to fill multiple positions in our Off-Shore Development and Support Center (OSDSC) in Bangkok, Thailand.

Location :

Bangkok, Thailand
General Requirements :

Legal right to live and work in Thailand;
Working knowledge of English; and
Experience and ability to work in a team.
Essential Technical Skills and Experience :

Concrete experience in system software maintenance and support of Windows Server editions ( Windows 2003, Windows 2008) in a multi-user, wide-area network environment, including windows file/print server administration;
Experience in the support of Windows Server ancillary products, such as Backup, Anti-Virus, Monitoring tools knowledge;
Familiarity with tools for security administration in a Microsoft Active Directory environment, including solid understanding of network-based services;
Familiarity with configuration of workstations including local user management and installation/configuration of hardware/software including anti-virus and anti-malware software systems;
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of products;
Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing; and
Ability to solve problems timely and tactfully.
Desirable Skills :

Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange administration;
Experience configuring and using IIS and Tomcat servers;
Experience in using Oracle ERP applications and/or managing user accounts and responsibilities in Oracle ERP; and
Working knowledge of Russian, Arabic, Chinese, French or Spanish.
