EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

University graduate or equivalent, MBA holder an advantage
Minimum 6 years sales experience in IT Channel sales of IT hardware products, preferably in retail and distribution environment.
Existing IT Channel partner relations in North India. Relations in East India will be a plus
Requires expertise in distributor management (understands sell-in, sell-thru, sell-out)
Able to drive and execute regional channel marketing activities, strategic business planning skill is required.
Sales oriented and able to drive business independently with proven track record of sales experience in supported country
Proven track record of achieving and/or exceeding sales targets
Experience in LFR account management will be a plus
High level of verbal and written communication skills in both English and local language.

Lead and guide multi-disciplined development teams through complex storage technology challenges
Drive firmware and systems delivery for firmware planning to production of the target customers.
Provide product schedules and deliver to these, using independent judgment to assess project technical status and determine the means to overcome technical problems
Represent the firmware team and lead the multi-disciplined engineering core team.

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in EE or Computer Sciences with 6-8 years of relevant experience
Prior system level and project leadership experience delivering at least 1 product generation, preferably in the storage industry.
3-5 years experience in the storage industry and in-depth knowledge of HDD or SDD products from concept to production and field deployment challenges.
Prior experience with flash management software principles and/or file systems (journaling, wear leveling…etc)
Prior experience with SoC (System on Chip) firmware development including memory optimization, DMA, etc…
Expert level in C programming.
Expert embedded firmware skills (5 years or more including debugging using JTAG based debuggers and protocol analyzers.
Good understanding of RISC microprocessors including interrupt handling. Prior product development with at least two embedded microprocessors such as PowerPC, ARC, ARM or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience developing software using structured methodologies, including but not limited to requirements analysis and capture, design documentation, source code management tools and defect tracking tools.
Experience using protocol analyzers, traffic generators, jammers etc.
Excellent communication skills and ability to succinctly describe and summarize highly technical firmware and/or system challenges.
Strong engineering aptitude for electronic/electrical systems, including ability to understand schematics as necessary for software/hardware integration.
Strong leadership skills are absolutely required for this role.
Prior experience with Solid State Drives and working knowledge of NAND flash technologies preferred
Prior product development experience using modern RTOS for embedded systems preferred
