Senior Field Service Engineer (2 positions) - Flow Asia Corporation

External Job DescriptionProvide a highly professional level of technical support to customers in conjunction with the installation and service of Flow's product/systems and ensure the successful performance of the company's products and systems in the field. Senior Field Service Engineers perform a greater level of support to both customers and other Field Service Engineers.Plan and supervise customers in the execution of field installations of company products.Provide technical support and training to customers on the installation, operation, troubleshooting, part identification, and repair of Flow equipment at both the customers' ation and via telephone correspondence, fax, etc.Assist in maintaining relevant technical documentation.Provide assistance to customer service by determining parts required by a customer.Establish and maintain a positive relationship with our distributors and customers while serving as a liaison between the customer and Flow.Visit customer location
regularly to audit performance of products and evaluate customer maintenance practices.Consult with engineering and other departments about design problems/trend failures; may recommend changes and improvement in products.Mentor, train and assist Field Service Engineers with technical support.Travel to customer locations on short notice, often outside normal business hours and for extended periods of time. Overall travel may exceed 70%.Job RequirementsComprehensive knowledge of company productsStrong mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic skills required.General diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.Independent judgment to analyze and solve technical problems.Familiar with Windows, Word and Excel, and CAM softwareExcellent interpersonal relationship skills and ability to professionally manage and resolve stressful situationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Positive attitude, initiative and dependability. ility for innovative/creative thinking. Good organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to quickly learn the company products and parts.Ability to travel to customer locations (may include international travel).Degree in Electronics, Robotics or Mech. Eng. or a minimum of 2 years college/technical school training.Minimum of 5 years of recent service-related experience with Robotics, Motion Control Systems, CNC machine tools or other relevant capital equipment.Experienced in CNC programming (Allen Bradley 9 Series Controllers, preferred).(Location has the discretion to substitute experience and education as appropriate for the position.)Educational qualifications: mechanical/electrical or electronic also but should have mechanical maintenance experience.Mechanical maintenance of machine tools with some exposures on electrical/electronic/drives & controls areas will be required.Interested partiesplease kindly send your full resume
