Web Application Tester / Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer - Accedo Broadband Asia Limited

We are currently expanding rapidly globally and our Hong Kong office needs talented staff interested working with and learning about a wide range of web technologies on many devices.

Based in Hong Kong, this is a great opportunity to gain experience in an exciting new media industry. You will be responsible for project testing of Accedo's IPTV and Connected TV applications. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of media applications and games being developed in Hong Kong for world famous brands.Job Duties:
Test application features systematically. Reproduce customer defects. Report all defects found using the issue tracking system. Follow up on identified defects till they are resolved and verify fixes.Work closely with Designers and Developers to understand application features and device capabilities.Conduct regular builds and tests to ensure application quality is maintained during the project.Take a significant role in application release management.
Plan appropriate performance testing, integration testing, regression testing and other non-functional testing to ensure the application launches successfully.

Requirements for this position are:
Understanding of the software development life cycle and test automation.Understanding of web/video technologies, networking and operating systems.Excellent communicator, detail oriented, responsible and quality focused.Able to work independently to deadlines and also work with a team.Fluency in written and spoken English.Immediate availability is preferred.
Fresh graduates will be considered. Computer Science or related degree would be advantageous.
