Requirements:
Experienced in business analysis and translating business needs to IT requirements/specifications.
Develops requirements, feasibility, costs, design; and specification documents for systems.
Implements systems to support projects, departments, organizations or businesses.
Translates business requirements into systems design and specifications.
Analyses and recommends alternatives and options for solutions.
Develops technical specifications for systems development, design and implementation. PHP knowledge required.
Develops and documents a detailed statement of requirements for the proposed application.
Initiates hardware/software acquisition, develops conversion plans and parallel operation procedures, and estimates resource and cost requirements.
Performs other technical duties such as:
Virtual host configuration and updates
System package updates and management
Database backup, maintenance and optimization
Developer and user access management
Error log traces
Management of CRON tasks
Subdomain and DNS updates
Server side network troubleshooting (firewalls, smtp etc)
Resource utilization monitoring
Qualifications:
At least 3 years in the specific service area
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with 5 years IT experience
Candidate ideally should have 3 years of proven experience in developing technical specifications for enterprise systems' design and implementation as well as proven experience with large distributed networks.
