Responsibilities

Perform welding of Titanium and Titanium alloys including stainless steel for fabrication of piping and structural components;
Capable of welding in 6GR position with minimum GTAW (TIG), SMAW, FCAW Processes;
Capable of producing x-ray quality welds;
Capable of working at different elevations (heights) and difficult locations.
Requirements

Recognised trade certificate;
At least 5 years experience with good track record in oil, gas & petrochemical industry preferred;
Must have experience in welding of thin wall titanium;
Have basic understanding of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Welding Parameters;
Knowledge of ASME and AWS codes;
Understand basic English relevant to welding operations and welding fit-ups;
Able to understand ISO/Structural drawings;
Able to analyze welding defects and causes of the defects;
Have adequate experience in welding safety;
Must be experienced and knowledgeable in using measuring instruments and tools relevant to welding;
Knowledge of all welding methods, procedures and quality control;
A team player with positive attitude.
