Responsibilities :

Responsible for providing technical expertise in dealing with high precision cold forging products and tooling design for the manufacturing market in precision engineering
Works closely with the sales and design teams to provide technical forging designs that commences from preliminary specification or proposal and concludes with characterized, reliability-qualified and fully documented prototypes sample for transfer to manufacturing that meet the customers’ requirement
Involves in planning and monitoring of the whole production and project schedule to ensure that it meets the required quality standards and customer’s requirement
Responsible for troubleshooting and problem-solving that occurs during production
Initiates meetings and conduct presentations both internally and to customers
Set up the work procedures and work instructions for cold forging equipment
Perform material selection and conduct engineering analysis and test to meet product and manufacturing requirements
Provides market research and survey on the products and metal forging technology development in order to support the research and development of growing the Company’s strategic business and potential customers
Identifiestechnical requirements and provide technical know-how that is in consistent with company’s unique capabilities and business strategies.
Act as an excellent technical advisor to sales and development team
Requirements :

Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering or a specialized/Master’s Degree in Metal Forging is highly preferred
At least 7 years of hands on experience in designing 3D shape cold forge dies for automotive components and working experience on 3D forging process FEA analysis simulation software
Extensive knowledge in cold forging applications and technologies
Excellent in analytical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and independently manage complex project objectives
Good in project management skills, including time and risk management and project structuring
Possess leadership skills, including coaching, team building, conflict resolution and management in a global, cross-functional and virtual environment
