Responsibilities:
Basedin our Pune office in India, the successful candidate will be part of a teamresponsible for delivering real business value solutions to AspenTech clientsacross Asia Pacific with further opportunity to work in otherregions.

CoreSkills & Responsibilities

Deliverconsulting services including; solutions design, implementation, technicaldelivery, training and advisory services to help AspenTech clients exploit ourleading technology solutions for chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceuticalclients.
Beconfident, capable with the ability to lead and demonstrable ability to gather,document and implement Client requirements.
Becompetent in designing and configuring model-based decision support systems, theuse of LP techniques, defining and implementing data integration with externalsystems and databases
Coordinatewith the AspenTech Project Management Office and Client to ensure projectsachieve, or exceed, stated milestones, delivery dates andgoals.
Maintainand extend client satisfaction levels and open opportunities for additionalServices.
Workco-operatively with the AspenTech extended team in Sales, Support, R+D andPartners to ensure successful project delivery and completion. Assist the salesorganization with technical presentations and client salesmeetings.

Qualifications:

Aminimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Industrial engineering or otherapplied mathematics or science degree specializing in Operations Research orEngineering with an emphasis on modeling, optimization and/or forecasting.Familiarity with various statistical forecasting methods isadvantageous.
Experiencein corporate or operational planning, scheduling and forecasting in thechemical, petrochemical or pharmaceutical sectors.
10+years experience in implementing Supply Chain solutions for planning, schedulingor demand management/forecasting. Familiarity with the AspenTech and AspenTechsolutions would be distinctly advantageous.
Experiencein using Linear Programming (LP) optimization and simulation packages, alongwith knowledge of VB.Net or C++ Programming. Fluency in working with MS Excel isa plus, along with experience and exposure to corporate ERP systems such as SAP,Oracle or JD Edwards.

OtherRequirements

Goodcommunicator oral and written.
Teamworker with strong people interaction.
Fluencyin English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
Fluencyin another Asian language would be highly advantageous

Thisrole requires extensive travel and candidates must bewilling and able to travelwithin Asia Pacific region for approximately 40% of thetime.
