Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager Based in Dubai- EIRE Systems (Singapore) Limited

In Managed Services, EIRE provides day-to-day Desktop Support and Helpdesk Operations to leading investment banks. 

EIRESystems is looking to recruit a Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager to be based in Dubai and to manage the IT Infrastructure Design and Build-out (including vertical and horizontal network LAN/WAN cabling reticulation, Data Centre and Satellite Equipment Rooms design and implementation, and Telecoms installations) for a multi-storey office building located in the Dubai CBD to be occupied by a leading financial institution.
Responsibilities will include:

Coordinate and manage client expectations.
Oversee project fundamentals to ensure quality of service and adherence to standards.
Coordinate technology specification, recommendations and product evaluations.
Prepare RFPs for vendor selection including response analysis and recommendation.
Oversee and coordinate detailed design for data centre and satellite equipment rooms layouts, cable pathways, MDF, patch frames, provisions for telecommunications/carriers etc.
Equipment rack, power bars and cabling infrastructure detailed specification and design.
Coordination of architectural and M&E design related issues i.e. IT construction, air conditioning, power, security, fire suppression etc. requirements.
Liaison/coordination with client IT, client design teams and third party vendors.
Production of Infrastructure RFP and vendor contract documentation.
Infrastructure vendor negotiation and bid analysis.
Day to day construction supervision and site inspections.
Review of other non-IT consultants' designs/templates to ensure compliance with IT requirements.
Attendance of all Construction Coordination Meeting, Schematic/Detailed Design Meetings and IT Cabling Meetings.
Coordination between Facilities and IT design teams and contractors during the construction period.
Day to day Facilities/IT team issue management, escalation and resolution.
Attend ALL required project meetings.
Candidate must have experience managing large scale infrastructure projects for "financial institutions".
