Job descriptionRole:
This position will give you an opportunity to work on high-visibility system architecture and design initiatives in Data Warehousing, ETL and Business Intelligence projects.
Responsibilities:
• Should be able to design and develop Cognos Reports • Should be able provide necessary guidance and support multiple projects• Experience in following tools is mandatory:a. Analysis Studiob. Report Studioc. Query Studiod. Framework Manager (highly desirable)e. Powerplayf. Metrics Manager (nice to have)
• Should be able to independently handle Business Intelligence capabilities - Reporting, Analysis, Dashboards and Score Cards• Should be able to develop and maintain Framework Manager Models; and applying proper securities and publishing packages• Provide training and mentor the team to create Advanced Reporting Solutions• Guide report developers to design reports that meet the business requirements• Apply best practices to generate user friendly reports and handle Ad-hoc requests from Query Users to Report Authors• Design/Implement Robust Security Architecture and Role Based Authentication• Provide best practices for day to day operations, performance analysis, reports tuning and capacity planning• Provide technical support for Cognos 8 applications including report analysis, development, maintenance, and migration projects• Should lead optimization efforts for Reporting Requirements/Solutions Required Bachelor's Degree At least 2 years experience in Cogno
