Field Product Manager, Women's Health SBU - India - Cook Medical

The Field Product Manager (FPM) will work primarily with the relevant Sales & Marketing Manager and secondarily with Sales Management, Product Managers, Global Training Manager, and Marketing to train and develop the sales staff’s knowledge for the identified product focus. They will also facilitate the education of Doctors and other end users.
The FPM is a field-based position that focuses on working actively in the field. The primary purpose of this position is to coach and support the sales team on product knowledge in the specified region and to facilitate the education of end users of our products. FPS will develop an excellent knowledge of the Women’s Health product range and a sound understanding of the associated medical discipline.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Train on pathology, procedures, product, positioning and selling
Conduct or facilitate training and educational events for Doctors and other users of our products
Initial, follow up and remedial training for new sales representatives
Development and ongoing study toward an excellent knowledge of Women’s Health products, Cook culture, competition products, procedures and training knowledge
Participate in international trainings as requested
Assist Global Training Manager in the development, review and adaptations of training materials
Conduct regular phone updates, internet based training and testing of sales staff and/or distributors
Provide technical training and support to medical professionals
Participate in the implementation of the sales strategy & the growth of sales in the designated products focus.
Act as a coach in product knowledge in the region through co-travel
Meet or exceed the sales targets set by the Sales & Marketing Manager.
Participate in national and international exhibitions and meetings as requested.
Report new product ideas, providing adequate information and if required facilitate ongoing communication if given. Assist in product evaluations as appropriate.
Work with CAMs and larger accounts
Maintain frequent and consistent field coaching schedules with assigned Sales Representatives to coach on strengths and weaknesses.
Work globally sharing ideas among Women’s Health Field Product Specialist
If given, provide field intelligence and other appropriate feedback (competitors, customer opinions, relevance of marketing materials, research/papers) to SBU management in a timely manner.
Yearly sales representative assessment- in written test form.
Weekly product quizzing and monthly conference calls with the sales team
Large account focus-work with sales representatives on large accounts to help win over these big facilities.
Inform product managers of positive and negative comments received from field not only on our product performance, but also on how our products are viewed (e.g. on our website) and how we are viewed in the market
Keep product records (old products) to ensure team knows which substitutes to offe
Reqirements:

In-depth product and/or procedural knowledge.
Proven experience in education and training, with the ability to interact effectively on either a one-on-one basis or with large groups.
Outgoing, confident personality that expresses professionalism.
Computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Language Skills â€" good written and verbal command of English and other relevant languages.
Availability and willingness to travel extensively. Average weekly travel is 2 to 4 overnights per week. Must have current driving license.
Preferred

Proven and or qualified sales skills.
Demonstrated aptitude for organizing and interpreting data.
Knowledge of regional cultural identities and expressions in territory.
Excellent organizational skills and highly self-motivated.

Medical Background or (ART Lab experience)
