Vizrt India requires a Senior Broadcast Engineer with extensive knowledge of broadcast operations and workflows for the Media Asset Management group.
A senior broadcast engineer at Vizrt works as part of a project team and reports to the APAC VP of MAM. The overall responsibility is to deliver high quality systems to our customers, and this position also carries duties in understanding and pitching our MAM solution to broadcasters. You will work with broadcaster to design the optimal solutions, and with the development arm of the organization to have them properly designed and implemented The successful candidate will work independently and take full responsibility for ensuring that the tasks assigned to him/her are done on time, to a high quality standard. Tasks could include solution design, documentation, and consultancy, as well as other tasks related towards making a successful system go live.
Location will be Vizrt offices in south Delhi.
Key Responsibilities
Participation in system design sessions
Be the main interface between customers and developers for system design and implementation
Participation in installation and testing of systems at customer sites
Production of technical documentation
Essential Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a broadcast organization with hands-on knowledge of relevant workflows
In-depth knowledge of broadcast equipment
Knowledge of newsroom operations is desirable
Knowledge MAM/DAM products is a strong advantage
Knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking is a plus
Knowledge of Linux is also a plus
Team Player
Fluent spoken and written English essential
University educated
