The RoleWe are searching for a highly motivated and enterprising individual to join our Data Acquisition Research Sales Group, to be based in our Mumbai office. The Data Acquisition Group at Bloomberg is growing globally and we are looking for experienced professionals to help us expand our research coverage and to help develop strategic relationships with contributors in the region.In this role, you will be responsible for the direct acquisition of content including sell-side, buy-side and independent research. You will also be responsible for developing strategic relationships with contributors and ensuring full contribution of content across all asset classes. You will be managing accounts, be responsible for product development, work with our core Terminal Sales and Business groups to deliver new content to our users, and provide solutions to new and existing clients to publish their research content via Bloomberg. You will specifically be responsible for identifying and
qualifying target lists of contributors and closing their commitments for report/data contribution, building networks across departments internally and building communities amongst clients externally. You will use your strong interpersonal skills and a strong penchant for financial knowledge in this client facing role.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years experience in a Research Sales/Research Business Development oriented roleBachelors degree or equivalent work experienceExcellent communication and customer service skillsProven ability to identify new prospects and build lasting relationshipsPossession of research business-related contacts at a senior level an advantageStrong market research and /or market data knowledgeWillingness to travelFluency in English and Hindi required
