SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - Smartmatic

RESPONSIBILITIES: Overall direction, coordination, delivery, implementation, , control and closure of specific projects, ensuring consistency with companystrategy, commitments and goalsResponsible for managing multiple projects or single complex project across its life cycle, to assure project accomplishes the targetedobjectives and milestones within scope, time and budget. Responsibilities from project plan inception till its implementation and closureincludes, but are not limited to: project integration, project scoping, schedule and activity planning, costs control, quality assurance and riskmanagement, through the implementation of the corporate Project Management Methodology and tools.Project Manager will assemble project team and will be responsible for managing project human recourses: integration, motivation, team buildup. Manage stakeholders and company director’s expectations through effective communication and proper weekly project progress reports.Project Manage
r will be also accountable for client satisfaction and project P&L results1. To Accomplish and supervise the creation of a top-down structured Project Plan n assuring the proper activities, work sequence anddependency network.2. To identify, track, manage and resolve project issues.3. To manage and control project finances and cash flow along with the financial controller to assure that the project margin and financialgoals are met, through the implementation of analytical, prediction and trends tools, based on project facts and progress4. To proactively distribute and release project information to all stakeholders.5. To identify, manage and mitigate project risk. To ensure that the solution implemented meets the established quality.6. Proactively managing and monitoring the project plan to ensure successful ful completion of the plan activities and delivery of theproject on schedule.7. Manage and monitor the budget to ensure that the project is delivered within budget.
8. Define, prepare and review the content and information to be included in the various project status reports, to communicate progress,achievements and status, which will be distributed on an agreed timeframe among the different stakeholders, mainly: Project Team, CompanyDirectors, and Customer.9. Proactively managing project scope to ensure that what was planned and agreed to deliver is what the team works on to accomplish,unless changes are approved through scope management.10. Defining and collecting metrics to give a sense for how the project is progressing and whether the deliverables produced are acceptedaccording to the defined criteria.11. Managing vendors and suppliers.12. Managing customer liaison and customer satisfaction.13. To assure that the Project Management Methodology is implemented, and that the project documentation is recorded, coveringconfiguration management, Change Control, Risk & Issues Management, Documentation Management and Product assurance.
14. To assure project team to follow up the standard processes and procedures with discipline.15. With the implementation of leadership skills, give focus to the team to transform goals into results, and be willing to follow ProjectManager’s direction.16. Engage others: team members, management and directors, to articulate Project Manager’s vision.17. Define the proper organization, resource requirements, hard and soft skills required of the resources, etc. to deliver the project18. To plan and monitor HR requirements and assignment plan, to assure that team member’s activities and responsibilities are finishaccording to the objectives and project closure plan before releasing them of the project.19. Setting reasonable, challenging and, clear expectations and objectives for people, holding them accountable for meeting theexpectations. This includes evaluation of team and team member performance, and to provide feedback to team members.20. Assure that the communication
plan guaranties a healthy, both horizontal and vertical communication.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS• Financial management knowledge• Excellent business management knowledge• Technical background, with experience in IT Projects desirable• Proficiency in Microsoft tools: MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, andExcel• Proficiency in any ERP systems: SAP, Great Plains, Oracle• Excellent teamwork skills• Effective problem solving skills• Self-confidence and assertiveness for decision making• Excellent organizational skills.
