ANZ based in India.


Job Summary:
The General Manager, South Asia, Southeast Asia and ANZ under the Professional Services department, is responsible for developing and managing a global e-commerce sales program in the assigned region. In addition to developing new business and managing complex sales cycles in the region, responsibilities also include building successful partnership/business relationships at senior levels with ocean carriers, software partners, port owners, government bodies and industry leaders to sell the value proposition of e-commerce. Needs to provide leadership to the industry (e.g. represent INTTRA on industry forums) within his region to promote the acceptance of e-commerce. The person will also be responsible for developing a regional product positioning strategy, account planning and reporting and regional communications. The General Manager may be assigned outside the region to work with other Commercial team members and other departments in support of Professional Services to land
large, multi-national accounts in other regions or geographies.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Actively sell and promote INTTRA products to maximize the revenue from customers and carriers of the assigned region.
Strategy planning and execution.
Identify new opportunities, work with customers to ensure they are successfully leveraging the INTTRA solution.
Responsible for the development and maintenance of his/her own client base and key accounts with Alliance Partners.
Develop relationships with regional/local offices of global accounts and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Responsible for the active and effective participation of all INTTRA Carriers in the region.
Participate in industry conferences to strengthen the brand name.
Accountable for cost control and budget for the region.
Manage and motivate his/her team to achieve company objectives.
Spend no more than 60% of his/her time traveling, visiting customers and carriers.
Has overall local staff and office responsibilities.

Job Specifications:
Education & Professional Qualifications:

University graduate preferably in Business/Commerce.

Prior Experience:

The candidate must have 10-15 years of sales and sales management experience.
Proven track record in sales (consistently meeting set targets).
Working experience in organizations such as ocean carriers, freight forwarders, consolidators, shippers, NVOCC’s, supply chain information technology providers or related vertical portal is preferred.

Skills & Qualities:

Commercial and technical understanding of the Internet and other e-commerce solutions such as B2B web portals, EDI connections and alliance partners is preferred.
Familiarity or experience in a local market is also desirable.
A strong negotiator and team player.
Ability and desire to work in an entrepreneurial, informal environment.
Flexible and able to shift with the demands of the business.
Ability to understand Customer needs and Develop creative solutions to maximize new business development.
Excellent listening, presentation and negotiation skills.
Self starter who takes initiative and has staying power.
Familiar with navigating corporate structure.
Part of a team but can work autonomously.
Experience managing complex relationships both internal and external to company.
Strong industry knowledge and experience.
Ability to foresee trends and react.
Fluency in local languages would be an advantage though not required.
