Our client is a well-respected market leading international organisation with global reach and a strong customer portfolio. They are now seeking a Human Resources Manager South Asia to be based in India. Reporting to the Managing Director South Asia, you are required to provide a broad range of strategic, tactical, operational HR leadership and management that will in turn facilitate the organisation in achieving its desired growth plan. The role also required the role holder to participate as a key partner of the management team and assist in influencing the direction and development of the organisation.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities

Develop and implement an agreed regional HR business plan in line with the HR objectives for the South Asian offices
Work in partnership with managers to agree and implement a regional retention plan and organizational developments
Develop a learning culture within the organisation by ensuring a training and development plan is identified and implemented to specifically deliver an effective program which supports the development of senior management across the region
Ensure the accurate and timely administration of payroll and benefits and support the Directors during the annual regional salary and bonus review process
Deliver agreed HR KPI's
Effectively manage and develop direct reports
Identify and drive the development of HR policies and procedures for the region
Contribute and support the implementation of any group HR initiative

Requirements:

Degree educated and has minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
Excellent command of written and spoken English
People management experience and experience managing projects and initiatives essential
Previous exposure to working in a partnership environment would be an advantage
Sound South Asia (India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka) employment law knowledge
High level of knowledge of Microsoft Office
Proactive self-starter who is able to use their own initiative
Ability to communicate professionally across all levels, both internally and externally
Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Strong organisational and time-management skills
